Dr. Fathima N. Kabir is a board certified Rheumatologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and autoimmune disorders.
Dr. Kabir completed a three-year Fellowship in Rheumatology and Immunology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. Dr. Kabir has been board certified in Rheumatology since 2002. Dr. Kabir received her medical degree from the Madras Medical College at the University of Madras in India. After graduating, she completed her internship and residency at Nassau County Medical Center in Long Island, NY.
Dr. Kabir has a special interest in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthopathies, management of SLE, scleroderma and vasculitis.
Dr. Kabir and her husband Athiff have been married for twenty-four years and have two daughters.
